Project Overview

During a major annual turnaround in Yanbu, BM Cranes mobilized a comprehensive fleet of cranes and certified personnel to handle 24/7 turnaround maintenance and vessel replacements.

Key Challenges

Execution & Methodology

  • Established an on-site command center with a resident lift planner.
  • Pre-assembled rigging gear and certified slings in modular containers.
  • Implemented a two-shift 24/7 operator roster.

Results & Achievements

  • Successfully replaced 14 major heat exchangers and 2 reactor heads.
  • Completed all lifts 36 hours ahead of the target turnaround schedule.
  • Zero HSE incidents reported during peak high-intensity shutdown.
